Nani wants to win The Europa League

Nani has says that Manchester United will go through the way to The Europa League to reach the final, after beating 2-0 Ajax in the Amsterdamn Arena stadium. 

The portuguese winger has comeback against The Dutch team, after recovering from an ankle injury.

"The win versus Ajax was very important to us, we want to start this competition in the right way. Of course we always want to win, We want to reach the final", said Nani. 

Manchester United has never won The Europa League and this is a good chance to win it. United's players will try to do the best to win The Trophy.

Chelsea game postponed

United game at Chelsea has been postponed due to the heavy snow in London last Saturday. According to The Police and the local authority, the game has been postponed. 

And finally, United have confirmed that all tickets will remain valid for the new date once it is arranged.

The game against The Blues is coming!

Sir Alex Ferguson is in positive mood ahead of Sunday's trip to Stamford Bridge, despite not winning on Chelsea's manor since 2002.

Another striking statistic is that United's last league defeat was at the hands of the Blues, then at Old Trafford, towards the end of last season. But the Reds' unbeaten start to 2010/11 includes Monday night's victory over Arsenal, the perfect platform surely for a crack at Carlo Ancelotti's men.

“It’s a big one for us,” the boss said on Friday morning. “They’re a tough team to beat on their own ground, their home record tells you that.

"Meanwhile, our results down there have been poor over the last eight years. We’ve managed a few draws, but we’ve lost a few too.

"Our record just prior to those eight years was fantastic – in fact, Stamford Bridge was the place where we probably had our best away form."

United are set to be without John O'Shea for the match - the Irishman has a calf problem - while Paul Scholes has been ruled out until the New Year with a niggling groin injury. Otherwise, Sir Alex says he is "going into the game with a strong, confident squad. You want to go there in good form and we are in good form."

Philadelphia Union 0 - 1 United

Gabriel Obertan give The Red Devils another victory on USA Tour.

Sir Alex Ferguson had said the MLS has made immense strides since Manchester United last visited the United States in 2004 and, as a hard-fought and slightly fortunate win over Philadelphia Union confirmed tonight, his tribute was not merely an attempt to pay lip-service to an American audience. A 76th-minute goal from Gabriel Obertan was all that separated United from a Union side that has only been in existence since 2008.

Federico Macheda and Danny Welbeck, two of Ferguson's principal reasons for confidence in his young players, were paired in attack and demonstrated flashes of the pace and touch required to stake a greater claim next season. Welbeck's movement was also impressive, although his finishing and the Italian's decision-making betrayed their inexperience against a well-organised and athletic Philadelphia Union side.

Welbeck went close from 25 yards in the first half and with an audacious shot on the turn at the start of the second. His simplest chance was also one to regret when, having collected Fabio's cross from the left and stepped inside his marker, the United striker shot straight at Brad Knighton in the Union goal from eight yards.

Sir Alex Ferguson wants to make Luis Fabiano bid

Sir Alex Ferguson is apparently considering a move for Brazilian international striker Luis Fabiano this summer as he looks to offer Wayne Rooney effective support in attack. The Sevilla forward has been linked with a move away from the La Liga side and may well be keen on a move to the Premier League club and it seems the only major obstacle in the way of such a move could be heavy debts the club are in.

Valued at around £22m the large financial crisis Ferguson’s club finds itself in could affect any potential additions and it seems likely that the club will have to sell before they can buy. The likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Anderson and Michael Carrick have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford.

United to sign Javier Hernandez

Hi guys, I'm gonna tell all my United fans about a new rumour. It seems that Javier Hernandez from Mexico could sign for Manchester United next season.

The 22-years-old striker had agreed new terms with United and passed a medical in April. United has not said anything about fees but it could be £ 6-8m.

He will officially join The Red Devils on 1 July. Sir Alex has said some words about Hernandez "He has been in prolific form for both his club and his country, he will be a great addition to our squad." 

Javier Hernandez is scheduled to join Ferguson's squad in mid-July for the Philadelphia leg of United's pre-season tour of the United States and Canada. And on 30 July he is scheduled to appear against his former club Chivas in a match to open their new 45,000-seat stadium.

Dimitar Berbatov will stay @ OT

Sir Alex Ferguson has said that Manchester United have no intention of selling Striker Dimitar Berbatov. 

The Bulgarian striker has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford following his £30.75million move from Tottenham in August 2008.

He has managed to score just 26 goals in two seasons.

But boss Fergie has no plans to offload the "fantastic" 29-year-old.

He said: "No, no, definitely not.

"There is speculation about Berbatov but we know he's a good player.

"He is a fantastic footballer and he'll be with us next year."

Preview: United v Stoke (9.5.10)

Hi, my United's followers, What's up? This Sunday is the final game for United. And Rio Ferdinand talked about it and said 'We are not finished yet' and I think the same thing; We could still win this premier league for a 4th consecutive year. Many of United fans already are doing online betting for United victory. 

We must first focus on beating Stoke and waiting for the miracle for Chelsea loss. Wigan has a great team and it will be a strong team to beat. 

Ferdinand also expressed "that we need to make sure we do our job because it would be catastrophic if we were to slip up then find out Wigan had done us a favour".

I feel we can take great pride in taking the title race to the final day after a campaign beset by injury problems, such as the goalkeeper, Owen Hargreaves, Wayne Rooney and loads of others; is a great testament to our character. 

We always go to the end of matches, that shows our heart and determination... We'll be going to the end of the season, too.

Preview: United v Wolves this Saturday

Sir Alex Ferguson is expecting a tough encounter on Saturday evening when United visit Wolves in the Barclays Premier League.

Mick McCarthy's men currently lie sixteenth in the table just a point above the drop zone having won just one of their last nine league games. And with their top-flight status very much at stake, the United boss is anticipating a tricky test at Molineux.

Speaking at Friday’s press conference, Sir Alex said: “It’s a real dog fight down there. Wolves are fighting for their lives so we expect a difficult match. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re in a situation now where we need to win all of our games." 

With Chelsea in FA Cup action against Stoke City this weekend, the Reds can reclaim top spot with a draw or a win. With just ten games remaining in the title race, Sir Alex is desperate for his side to gain an advantage on Saturday.

Fellow striker Wayne Rooney is a doubt for Saturday's trip to Wolves following his exertions for England in midweek, while Jonny Evans is out after picking up an injury on international duty.

"We have to assess Wayne because he played almost 90 minutes for England the other night at Wembley, which I was disappointed in," said the boss. "When you’re playing on that pitch for almost an hour on Sunday and then nearly a full game on Wednesday, it's far too much. He's a doubt."

There was some good news, however, with confirmation that Rio Ferdinand is fit to start at Molineux. "Rio is back, which is good news. It comes at a good time with a big game against Milan next Wednesday," Sir Alex said. "Having the Ferdinand-Vidic partnership is a big boost in terms of the experience and consistency they've shown over the last few years. That will be important to us in the run-in."

The manager also confirmed that young striker Federico Macheda will start training with the first team next week.

"Going top is certainly an incentive for us and it knocks an away game off the list - we'll have just four aways after that. Winning at Wolves is a big issue for us.

“Our form is good so hopefully we can get the points we need to go top."

Preview: United v City: Fergie to axe 7 flops

ALEX FERGUSON is ready to axe SEVEN of his Manchester United flops.

Big guns Dimitar Berbatov and Gary Neville are in line for the chop when United face bitter rivals Manchester City in tomorrow's Carling Cup semi.

Anderson, Gabriel Obertan, Danny Welbeck, Darron Gibson and Fabio could also be ditched.

Old Trafford boss Fergie was left stunned by Sunday's FA Cup loss to Leeds.

His No 2 Mike Phelan said: "We will start to think a little bit differently with our selection for Wednesday.

"I don't think we did ourselves justice against Leeds in certain departments of the field. We had players out there who play for Manchester United and they did not perform as expected of them."

Fergie had virtually selected his team to make the short journey to Eastlands - but the 1-0 defeat by Leeds has forced him to think again.

Phelan insisted they expected the XI put out against the League One side to be comfortably good enough to win.

He added: "We either go experienced, or we go youth. This time we picked a bit of a mixture and it didn't work.

"This is a major blow. We need to progress in this cup. We need to be in finals of cup competitions like this. To go out at the stage we have is unacceptable really."

Centre-back Nemanja Vidic is likely to miss the City clash after pulling out of the Leeds game with a trapped nerve.

Wes Brown enjoying life at the back

Wes Brown will be targeting three more points – and a second successive league clean sheet – when United travel to Portsmouth this weekend.

Injuries in defence have given Wes a chance in his favoured central role recently, one he grasped with both hands in the 3-0 home win over Everton last weekend.

The Longsight-born player has endured his own maddening periods on the sidelines over the years, but when fully fit he remains a top-class defender, and he'll be looking to demonstrate that once more at Fratton Park on Saturday.

"Rio and Vida have missed a few games, which has given me a chance and it’s been nice to be back in the centre," the 30-year-old says. "Throughout my career that’s always where I’ve said I want to play, but it really doesn’t bother me either way.

"I’m really enjoying it at the moment – I’m training well and when I’ve played I’ve felt 100 per cent fit. I’ve had a few frustrating seasons, but I always try my best to come back strongly and, touch wood, up to now I’ve been fine."

Wes is not the only Brown to have featured in United colours this season – brother Reece has been making a name for himself in the Academy and Reserves sides, although he's currently sidelined through injury.

"I try to watch him as much as I can," Wes adds. "We’re quite similar in the way we play, but he’s a lot taller than me and is very a powerful defender. We talk a lot about football and hopefully we’ll get the chance to play together one day."
