United open to Rooney exit

Wayne Rooney
Manchester United will consider the sale of Wayne Rooney in the summer for a fee of around £35 million.

An Old Trafford source said that any prospective transfer was dependent on a "complicated chain of events", but one that could also see Cristiano Ronaldo end up back at the club.
With Rooney controversially demoted to the bench and the Portuguese not ruling out a return to United, Wednesday night’s Champions League clash between United and Real Madrid was dripping with transfer subplots.
It is known, however, that the Premier League leaders are actively looking into a way to bring Ronaldo back, and that there was more to Sir Alex Ferguson’s decision to drop Rooney than tactics or any injury concerns.
United had informal talks with Real Madrid over the prospective transfer of Rooney, but the Spanish club have no wish to purchase him at present. So far, the only club to have expressed an interest are Paris Saint-Germain.
It had been floated that Rooney could be used in some kind of part-exchange deal for Ronaldo but, with Real not interested at present, United may seek to offer Nani and cash for the Portuguese star.
United, meanwhile, retain an interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski as a direct replacement for Rooney. The Poland forward is expected to join Bayern Munich, but that deal is far from done and the Red Devils are continuing to monitor the situation.

Cantona could be the next United manager

Eric Cantona has said he would relish the chance to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson as the next Old Trafford chief.

Today, Cantona is the New York Cosmos's Coach, but he had said that he would like to return to Manchester United, as the sucesor of Sir. Alex Ferguson, when he decide to retire from the League leaders.

Also, Eric has told that he would like Sir. Alex remained for United manager forever.

Cantona think about AF as the following: "He's a winner, that's why he has won so many things. It's what is incredible with him, next game is like the first game of his career, and he gives you that - his passion, his love of the game, love of winning things."

***

My Final thoughts: So, as a huge fan of Manchester United, I would really see Eric Cantona as the next United manager. He's a legend and I think he could be a great coach at OT.

What do you think? Would you like to see Eric Cantona as the next United manager? Have your say!

Southampton 2-3 United: RVP Hero!!!

The £24million Dutchman netted three goal and his first Hat-Trick with the Red Devil's T-Shirt.

Although Manchester United didn't play a good game against Southampton, Robin Van Persie played in good form and he gaves Sir. Alex Ferguson a gift in the shape of an AWESOME hat-trick!!

RVP had a chance to equalizer from the penalty spot, but the Southampton's goalkeeper had save it. Luckily, in the final minutes, the striker produced two more goals to a vital away win for Manchester United.

The Robin Van Persie's third goal was his 100 Premier League goals for him. CRACK!

Another achievement for this game was that Sir. Alex Ferguson managed his 1,000th league game in charge of Manchester United.

The next United's game will be against Wigan on 15 September at 11:00 AM and this will be very special for Paul Scholes, he will play his 700 Premier League game.

My final's Thoughts: It was a great win for United and I think that these three points could be beneficial for the final part of the Premiership. Also I hope RVP will continue his good form and netted much more goals for the Red Devils.
